My set is about 30 plus years old. Is it microwave safe?

Microwaves became popular in the late 60s/early 70s so it is possible your set was designed with this in mind - HOWEVER since this dinnerware is no longer in production, I would consider treating it more like china for serving purposes. It will ensure the longevity of your dishes. The more current releases were all oven to table and microwave safe - but I cannot be certain of your older dishes. Are your measurements for the medium bowl from the top or bottom? If one measures width, from the top you would not get the true size of the bowl.

The full width is measured from the top of the bowl at the lip. Lip Measures: 1" (2.5 cm), so the bowl portion only is 3-3/4" tall x 5-3/4" in diameter
