Celebrate Finland's 100th anniversary of independence with the Arabia mug collection. Each of the 10 mugs features designs from a different decade, telling the story of Finland throughout the years. Heikki Orvola has been working in Arabia's art department since 1987 and was given the task of designing different patterns with music being the unifying factor: Blues, Ballad and Bebop.
Bebop, a disruptive form of jazz, inspired the 1992 Bebop coffee and tea set. It was decorated in gold and represented both luxury and the 1990s style. The Bebop mug comes in a decorative box for safe-keeping, complete with the fun pattern continuing onto the top of the box.
