I recently bought an iittala Toikka blown glass piece (Scarlet Tanager (Fallingwater Red) and had a very good experience doing so. I bought it on line and it was easy to do, there was a good description of the item as well as a good photo, it was a good price, and it was shipped promptly. I had one of these in my possesion for many years and shared my admiration for the famed artist's work with family and friends until one day I accidentally broke it's beak. So this is a limited edition bird not an annual and they were released in 2004
Yes, the design is the same on both sides of the bird (keeping in mind that each bird is hand-blown so it will not be perfectly symmetrical and each bird will vary)
