This large combination thermometer and hygrometer is perfect for the larger home sauna or commercial sauna. The black dials on a large white faceplate are easy to read from a distance, even up to 10 feet away. The thermometer shows the temperature in both degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius from room temperature up to 240F (120C). The hygrometer displays relative humidity, or the amount of water in the air, from 0% to 70%. Some people like a very dry sauna (5-10% RH) while others prefer to throw water on the rocks to make some refreshing steam (raising RH to approx 20-25%). A hole on the back plate makes it effortless to hang this sharp, gold instrument with a single screw.
Although we wanted the larger 7" model it was out of stock so we settled for the 5' model. Finn Style was very prompt in making the substitution and the product was delivered expediently. Unfortunately, the product arrived squashed even though it was well packaged. We were able to repair the unit so the damage was not very noticeable.
