Satumetsä abounds with vivid color and rich detail. In contast to the Taika pattern which took place in wintry landscape, Satumetsa features a lively springtime motif. A blue deer is the central figure of the design, and is surrounded by carefully rendered leaves and foliage.

I love salads, so this is very pretty bowl to serve a nice salad from. I am a true Iittala and Arabia fan!

I love the entire Satumetsä series and I bought an item of everything except the Salad bowl, which was out of stock at the time of my purchase. For this, I think it's still a little pricey despite the discounted price. (No way I would pay $95 at the original price). However the quality is good despite it being a little heavy and big. If you have a use for it I would say buy it. Else if you're just buying for collection/display skip this and just buy the Dinner and Salad plates. I put them on plate stands in my glass cabinet and they looked gorgeous!!!
