This lovely salad plate complements the other dishware in the Satumetsä dinnerware collection. The surface of the Satumetsä plate is covered in colorful flora and fauna, which give life to the creamy white porcelain.Continuing in the same ornamental vein of his Taika design, Klaus Haapaniemi has created an equally vibrant follow up collection, Satumetsä. Satumetsä abounds with vivid color and rich detail. In contast to the Taika pattern which takes place in wintry landscape, Satumetsa features a lively springtime motif. A blue deer is the central figure of the design, and is surrounded by carefully rendered leaves and foliage.

The Satumetsä Mug is already out ouf stock so grab this while you can. Together with the dinner plate, I bought this as a set of display pieces(use on plate stands) and they look great in my glass cabinet.

I love this dinnerware, I had a set of six but wanted to have two extras just in case. When the table is set with it it always looks elegant and colorful, plus the quality of the porcelain is amazing, strong, durable, stainless, scratch free. The sizes of the salad and dinner plates are perfect and I love the fact that you can even place them on top an electric stove (set in low) to keep the plates warm before serving food.
