iittala Teema White Rectangular Serving Platter

I like Teema white color. It goes all kinds of food. You can serve several toppings of sandwiches or several kinds of fruit for four or six people with this platter. The deep rim helps to hold food lots in stable position. If you have more people at the dinner table, another bigger Teema rectangular dish (9-3/4"x13") would work. The rectangular shape save space on your table. I am wondering if I get blue platter as well.

This small platter comes in handy when I have a small amount of appetizers and want to use something other than my cutting board ;) The rectangular footprint saves space over using a circular dish. It's a lot more practical for my small family. It's more nimble and easier to wash than the other platters I have on hand. It feels substantial and weighty for its size, probably due to that lip around the border. It was a good purchase.

I wasn't sure about the dimensions for a serving platter. SURPRISE it's perfect size. Fits easily in the center of seated dinner. Unique size allows for creative presentation, from Bruschetta to spooned Hors d'oeuvre.

Teema collection is just beautiful in its simplicity and practicality. This serving platter was actually the first piece of Teema we bought. Years later we bought the entire set from Finnstyle. We ordered another as it fits so nicely on a table. We love ordering from Finnstyle as they are wonderful and easy to do business with.

Beautiful design,love the creamy white color. Simple yet stylish. Goes well with my existing Teema dishes.

I bake for parties and holidays and just discovered that this platter is the perfect size for rolled sponge cakes. I used the red one (last year’s purchase) for my Christmas cake and just ordered the white one for more options year round. If it came in other colors I would probably order another. Rolled cakes serve 10, so you sometimes need more than one. Perfect size, shape, durability, very clean and attractive - can’t say enough good things.

I fixed Tuscan Porter House steaks which are cut off the bone to serve & this was perfect.

This pairs very well with the Origo dishes purchased previously. The platter is deep and quite generous in size. If this serving platter came in a bright color such as turquoise, it would be a beautiful addition to a table setting.
