Product Details

The multipurpose iittala Taika Square Plate will enchant any table setting or home interior. Meaning "Magic" in Finnish, the Taika pattern by Klaus Haapaniemi features fanciful foxes and ornate owls inhabiting a mysterious forest. The rich blue backdrop is illuminated by brown, red and white hues with detailed lines, adding a splash of excitement to any dinnerware collection. Haapaniemi's artful design is complimented by Heikki Orvola's elegant porcelain shapes, which are dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe. Its small size will be ideal for serving dips, using as a decorative dish, and more.

Such a useful new addition to the Taika line! The square shape is whimsical and delightful. Fantastic addition to my tabletop and perfectly sized for appetizers, nibbles and snacks. I’m ordering 4 more.

Thrilled with this addition to the Iittala Taika line!

We absolutely love our Taika place settings. We always had one small nit to pick: for small snacks, the salad plates are too large, but the saucers are too small (and so sloped that they are clearly meant have a cup atop them). We lacked a true bread-and-butter/tidbit/snack size plate. This small square plate fills that gap perfectly! I ordered one in each available color to make sure the size was what we were looking for, but I will be ordering more to complete each plate setting. These will get a lot of use in our house!
