I already have some of the white Taika dishes, but I am also love the cobalt blue dishes. So, I ordered a couple of the 10” plates in the blue. I am absolutely thrilled with the blue plates! Little by little I will purchase the entire set of both the white and blue Taika dishes. Haapaniemi is quite an artist. Everyday when I take the dishes out to use, I smile. The magic and fantasy of this dinnerware brings me such joy!

Great Size

Although I already had the 11.5 inch plates and the luncheon size, the 10.5 is a much better size for daily use. Glad I decided to get these lovely plates.

Charming Dinner Plates

I purchased these plates for my holiday table, they're whimsical and unexpected and beautiful. The glaze on the plates is great and it looks like they will wear quite well over the years. The shipping was prompt, the packaging was first rate and the order arrived in pristine condition despite the attempt of the delivery man to break the plates by dropping them on the concrete from 3 feet! These plates are great--the size, the color, the wide flat rim, the artistry. They coordinate nicely with the white coffee mugs and pasta bowls. I highly recommend them.
