Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935, this 3-legged round table is a beautiful example of simple, elegant yet functional design. Utilizing the L-leg technology developed by Aalto himself, birch laminate legs are bent at a 90-degree angle where they are then attached directly to the underside of the table. This technique creates an extremely sturdy but lightweight support system that requires no additional framework. Aalto considered the L-leg his most important furniture innovation.
