Composed of a tubular steel frame and a birch plywood top, Side Table 606 can be pulled tight to armchairs, sofas, and beds thanks to its three-quarter-moon base. Lightweight and versatile, it's perfect for both private homes and public spaces. Designed by Aino Aalto in 1932 when she and her husband, Alvar Aalto, were working on the Paimio Sanatorium project in Finland, this side table was originally used as a stool for changing shoes.
