Hiirenvirna means Vicia cracca in Finnish, a type of plant referred to as Vetch. For what many consider to be a common weed, it is strikingly beautiful. Its tall stem climbs toward the light and is decorated with violet-colored petals. It grows all over the meadows of Finland, and is nicknamed "Mouse's pea" there because of its green, seed-bearing pods. Liina Harju captures their look beautifully on this pattern alongside other colorful wildflowers. Here, it's printed on a beautiful and functional oven mitt that can be displayed by the attached loop. Machine washable, it's made from 100% cotton and padded for heat protection.
Care: Machine washable. Follow instructions on tag.
