Very versatile

This tray is primarily designed for serving food, and it would be very useful for serving bread, fruit, pastries, and so on. However, its uneven surface would not make it a good piece for serving items that required cutting, such as cheese. For me, however, it has a different sort of use. I collect small, handmade silver items, and this black tray makes a beautiful platform for the display of silver art objects. I'm extremely glad I got it.
