I purchased this for my grandson's 1st birthday as a two cup set (one for him and one for a pal), as he is enamored with clinking cups and saying "cheers"! He is so excited to have a cup with a handle of his own, as he has for some time begged to hold my (breakable and large) coffee cup by himself. This Moomin cup is just the right size for him to manage, and introduced him to the Moomon family and friends- the start of many stories that we can share and make up during our afternoon "tea". This is a very sturdy cup that I am sure will be enjoyed for many years.

This mug is a perfect gift for small children. Together with other children items this makes a perfect Christmas present. My friend for whom I ordered this to give her grandchild likes especially the size, not too big. I think, I have to order for her some adult mugs as well.

What's not to love about these mugs? They are perfect for little ones who are still not gentle enough to use the real mugs. I bought a couple of these to match the plates and bowls we have for my daughter and can't wait until we can share cups of cocoa in our Moomin mugs.
