The Marttini Fillet Knife Classic 6” is aptly named, as it has been produced and enjoyed since the late 1960s. The expertly hand-sharpened and flexible stainless chrome steel blade of this "puukko" slices quickly and cleanly through fish fillets. The 6” blade is perfectly suited for filleting fish around 2 pounds (1 kg). The smooth handle feels good to grip, made of lacquered birch. The traditional natural-colored leather sheath has fine detailing and features slits for belt attachment.
My sweetheart has this knife in his kitchen and I've been wanting one as well. It's beautifully crafted. VERY sharp! The sheath has a liner so the knife won't poke through.

My Husband has purchased before from Finn. The best knives! Stays sharper longer then other knives. True value!
what does the inscription on the side of the blade say in Flemish and English? I inherited a classic 6" fillet knife from my dad. I seldom use it because of nostalgic reasons. I used it the other day to fillet catfish. I will NEVER use ANY other knife! Sorry dad, I just may wear it out.
