Vihkiruusu was designed by Maija Isola in 1964, when her fascination with florals and refusal to follow Marimekko’s “no floral prints allowed” policy led to the creation of this and many other famous Marimekko flower prints such as Unikko. A single red rose is repeated on this fabric, 21 roses across, providing a simple red backdrop for any table setting or as art for your home.
