Q & A
Marimekko Vattenblänk fabric is the company’s most complex print to date. In order to capture designer Astrid Sylwan’s vivid Vattenblänk pattern, Marimekko had to painstakingly overlap several colors and use gradient effects to accurately blend and bleed each color to reproduce Sylwan's vision for the pattern. The result is a beautiful abstract print that is inspired by the glittering effects of water and light.

I love this fabric, it is like an abstract piece of art, I made it into a wall hanging and so many people comment on it. A lot of people don't realise it is fabric and have asked if I painted it! It is very versatile and just so different!
