The pillow looks SO stylish and it is beyond my expectations. I usually sew my own pillowcases with Marimekko fabric, but not going to lie, after getting this pillow I'll probably just buy them from Marimekko. The fabric is a thick, woven texture.

This pillow is absolutely gorgeous and I'm so pleased with the quality - it's a very heavy weave and I'm confident it will hold up to use. The colors are so vibrant and the perfect accent in my sitting room for spring/summer! I wondered if I should steam it to get the creases out from being folded for shipping, but they mostly worked themselves out naturally in a few days once I put in the pillow insert. This is not a super soft pillow weave if that's what you're looking for, but I doubt this will show wear for many years. Love it!
