Q & A
Let the Marimekko Essential Bucket Bag be your new everyday companion. Decorated with Maija Isola's beloved Unikko (Poppy) pattern in muted tones of black, grey and light green, the bag will be just neutral enough to pair with any ensemble while remaining bold with the iconic blooms. The Essential Bucket Bag has a zipper-top closure and a slip-in pocket on the back exterior that clasps shut with a magnet. Leather details elevate the bag, while a detachable Marimekko logo keychain hangs from the front. The Unikko-patterned shoulder strap is adjustable, and the thick, jacquard-knit polyester material ensures long-lasting use for years to come.

First, I’m a big fan of Marimekko. Have been since as a young woman had a job in a Marimekko store in Helsinki. - now, I don’t carry large purses anymore. I only need my wallet, phone, keys, lipstick and maybe a small pocket of tissues. This small purse would work better if the phone pocket was an inch deeper and if there was a pocket on the inside for the smaller items like a lipstick. For me, this bag is just a bit too small. But gorgeous with the iconic Unikko print. I would have loved to give it 5 stars, alas… Would I recommend this to a friend? With reservations, yes!
