Erja Hirvi originally created the Lumimarja (Snowberry) design by scanning the bush's actual branches, a meticulous method that shows in the truthful form of every single twig. A central stem climbs up a rich taupe sky, presenting succulent berries in shades of soft blush and bright white as it ascends. Still made at Marimekko's factory in Finland, this luxurious fabric is printed on 100% cotton sateen to give it a softer feel and subtle sheen. Use the Marimekko Lumimarja Taupe/Blush Sateen Fabric to upholster a headboard, create a wall hanging or fashion a window panel; wherever this delicate yet dramatic design ends up, it will leave a lasting impression.
