Visually appealing in our contemporary bathroom. Wish sizing was more like American. quality good. Compromised on size because we loved the pattern so much.

Not a hand towel

I love the design of this towel but the size is ridiculous. It is not what an American would consider a 'hand towel' that you put next to the sink and use to dry your hands. It was so long when put on the towel ring that the bottom just sat on the counter and went into the sink. But also too small to use as a bath (body) towel. I just cant comprehend the purpose of this size of towel, maybe it is a Finnish thing but we found it totally unusable. We had to spend $10 to send them back and get the 'guest towel' size which at least is an upgrade as it is more functional, but still much smaller than a hand towel. Since we love the design and needed something to match the bath towels, this is what we settled on, though I must say it was a bit frustrating. I know European sizes are different and I should have paid more attention to the dimensions but buyer beware, do not just assume these are the size of your typical American hand towel when they are described that way.
