Q & A
Meaning spring in Italian, "Primavera" is a pattern painted by Maija Isola when she was living in Oran, Algeria. Because of this, it's thought it has a touch of homesickness in it. Perhaps Isola was yearning to be back in Finland where wildflowers like marigold bloom in the morning dew. Here, the flowers are stunning in shades of soft lilac and lush green on crisp white stoneware. This mug is perfectly portioned for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more. It's conveniently microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe for daily use.

I’ve been a huge fan of Marimekko for a long time and this mug is a great addition to my mostly black&white collection.

Bright and light!

Another winner from Marimekko! I've been a fan of Marimekko from as long as I can remember, and I love that they only have 2-3 standard sizes of coffee mugs which makes mix-match very easy. This mug has a nice spring'y feel to it.
Pros
Strong, sturdy, typical Marimekko. Brightens up your dining room, especially if there's a lot of wood!
Cons
Only drawback is that because it's a very unique design, and looks a bit misplaced amongst most of Marimekko's mugs. Performance wise - guys, it's Marimekko. It'll last forever, never ever chips. In short - win!
