Q & A
Have an eye for Marimekko and a green thumb? You'll love the Marimekko Primavera White / Lilac / Green Flower Pot. Meaning spring in Italian, "Primavera" is a pattern painted by Maija Isola when she was living in Oran, Algeria. Because of this, it's thought it has a touch of homesickness in it. Perhaps Isola was yearning to be back in Finland where wildflowers like marigold bloom in the morning dew. Here, the flowers are stunning in shades of soft lilac and lush green on crisp white stoneware. A hole in the bottom allows excess water to drain onto the included saucer.
