Flowers crane their stems to find a sliver of sun in the Marimekko Oodi Red/Magenta Fabric. Oodi means ode in Finnish, and this pattern was designed by Teija Puranen as a tribute to undefeated autumn gardens. A variety of red, magenta, orange and chartreuse blossoms emerge from the shadows, surrounded by a lush bed of green leaves on this 100% cotton fabric. With just the right amount of detail, the flowers are shaded with a sketch-like artistry. Whether it is used to create pillows, wall art or a dress, you will enjoy the floral print on the Marimekko Oodi Red/Magenta Fabric throughout the changing seasons. Hello - can you please give me information about this fabric, so I can decide if it would be practical to use it to upholster a bedroom chair?

Marimekko recommends that only Upholstery-weight fabric is used on items such as chairs. Regular cotton weight fabric is not intended for this sort of wear and tear.
