Q & A
Humbly handsome. The exterior of this Marimekko dish features an iconic Unikko flower and is coated in a clear glaze allowing the beauty of the brown stoneware to show through. The rough, unglazed interior features grooves to help with grinding. A rubber wood pestle completes this set. Mortar is dishwasher safe. Handwash pestle.
*Packaged in a Marimekko gift box.

I purchased two of these Marimekko ceramic mortar & pestle sets as gifts. They’re simple in style, but will function well. I like the neutral color and single flower embossed on the outside. There are lined grooves inside to aid in grinding.
