I have a table runner and place mats in this fabric. It is so bright and cheerful. I use it after Christmas when we all need something new to add interest to the table. I also have pillows with this fabric to connect the living room with the dining room. I have just ordered more fabric. The white and silver go with any other color used in decorating. I might just use it year round . . . . . so bright and beautiful.

Beautiful addition to our living room

We've got a very large & bland (new house bland) wall in our living too and I wanted something special for this wall. Something that wouldn't dominate to whole room though. This beautiful fabric did the trick! We hang it in an oversized frame & get lots of compliments for it from all visitors. A great buy!

I like this Lumimarja Silver/White Sateen Fabric very much. The stems are designed with scanned real branches. I am planning to make curtain with this. It is thicker and smoother than usual Marimekko cotton fabric. But I am wondering to line simple white fabric backside to prevent from being sun-faded. The background color is more "white" than the image which is listed above and looks light grey in it.

The fabrics should be washed separately in plenty of water the first few times to remove any excess dye that may have remained on the fabric surface. We recommend washing before sewing, because cotton and linen fabrics always shrink in the first wash. We don’t recommend dry clean to ensure that the prints retain their original appearance.
*Fabrics with metallic printing (such as gold and silver prints) should be washed at 40°C (104°F - Warm) and in plenty of water. Fabrics with metallic prints should be ironed on the reverse side.
