Called Lempiheppa, this piece is part of the Marikyläläiset collection by Jenni Tuominen. The bottom portion is a familiar shape from the Marimekko Oiva dinnerware line, while the top features lovable horse head. The two parts separate and rejoin to act as storage for supplies or trinkets while the bottom part can be used as a small bowl on its own when needed. Though Lempiheppa can serve many functions, it's truly a piece of collectible art at heart. Each one is partially hand-painted to have its own unique personality, much like it depicts. It will add a bit of whimsy and wonder to bookshelves, mantles, countertops and more, or as a fantastic gift.
