'Tis the season for cookies, pie, and biscuits, and what better way to enjoy sweet treats than on a festive plate? Adorned with darling evergreen trees in a variety of mismatched patterns, the Kuusikossa (Spruce) print by Maija Louekari was inspired by the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree. This small plate sets the stage for the perfect portion of appetizers like bread and butter or desserts. Made from white stoneware, it is microwave, oven and dishwasher safe so that it can be conveniently used daily from breakfast to dinner.

I have loved this pattern ever since it came out. Classic Marimekko - interesting, clean design, playful and beautiful. I had the mug and just had to have the plate too. A most charming set.

I love this little plate. This is an essential plate for coffee time. I use this everyday to put some coffee snacks for myself.

I have several Marimekko Kuusikossa trees-throw pillow covers and small coffee mugs. I thought I would just use them for the Christmas season but find them irresistible year round! I hope Marimekko comes out with this small plate in the shades of green Kuusikossa pattern.
