I had been hanging different fabrics over my tall living room doors for months (to see what would look good for curtains), but it wasn't until I bought 2 yards of this gorgeous Marimekko floral print and hung it, that I finally said, "Yes!" The huge, luscious blooms in white with pale green on a black background create the perfect balance between an interesting graphic that could stand alone and a neutral that doesn't demand precise "matching" of everything else in the room to it. Absolutely love it!. Still expensive on sale, but most definitely worth it (also, the fabric is so wide that I ended up having to buy 2 yards less than I thought I would - yay!).
