I chose these red striped sheets to complement two of my Marimekko duvet sets. I have purchased other Marimekko sheet sets and laundered with no problems. I laundered the sheets alone prior to using and luckily had nothing to transfer the red dye onto. But the nonmetal parts of my dryer drum are stained red. I have not been able to remove the staining.
Pros
Coordinates well with my Marimekko duvet sets. I prefer the crisp percale texture living in Texas.
Cons
Red color runs even after repeated washes. Stained my dryer drum red.
Fitted sheet is large for my Tempurpedic mattress so needs adjusting when remaking the bed. Not a soft sheet but I prefer a percale texture.
