Not superstitious, but super stylish? This is the perfect pillow for you. The Les Chats, amis de Putte (The Cats, Friends of Putte) collection was inspired by designer Klaus Haapeniemi's own pet cat Putte and his feline friends living in their quiet neighborhood of East London. Here, a black cat affectionately named "Monster" is pawing at a butterfly in the garden with a sunset-pink backdrop. The nine-lived feline is dressed to the nines with a patterned body and sleek cap, reminiscent of the cats regarded as royalty in ancient Egypt. The back of the ivory linen-cotton cushion cover is covered in a fruit and floral motif with the same level of intricacy, so you can switch up the design whenever you need a change in scenery. It has a discreet size zipper to remove from an insert whenever machine washing is needed.
Optional insert is polyester-filled and hypoallergenic.
If ordering with insert, item cannot be gift wrapped.

The background of the pillow is more of a peachy shade than pink which makes me glad because I not a huge fan of pink. The pose of the cat is delightful. The pillow is thick and well constructed. Very pleased with this purchase.
