Q & A
The magical firebird is depicted here in beautiful detail. The design was inspired by the Ballet Russe's ballet and the story of the good and evil powers possessed by this bird. The Firebird scarf design comes to life though Klaus Haapaniemi's expert visual storytelling. Various flora float on the black background to complete this dream-like world. The rich detail and strong coloring adorns 100% heavy silk satin. Tie this wearable art around your neck or the handle of a purse to bring the beauty of this story with you wherever you go.

A Gorgeous Work of Art

I bought this scarf for my wife just after Christmas. It was out of stock before Christmas. What a hit this was with my wife when it arrived as a surprise. It is simply beautiful. My wife says the large size makes it very versatile and I can tell you that both my wife and the scarf look gorgeous when she wears it over the shoulder of her long bright red wool winter coat. It is a stunning contrast. The weight of the silk fabric is very impressive and the design is out of this world. The photos on line do not do this scarf justice as it is even more beautiful in person than it is on line. This is the kind of thing that becomes a family heirloom.
