Q & A
Designed by Harri Koskinen, Valkea votives celebrates the elemental beauty of fire by providing it a soft and simple shelter. Place this pair along your mantle, table, or windowsill to be transported to the Nordic, where northern winters bring enduring darkness. There, flickering flames bring a sense of warmth and coziness to Nordic homes along with a lively show of shadows. Crafted from glass in Finland, this turquoise version will bring a sense of tranquility to the atmosphere.

I went on a cruise and the vibrant blue of these candle holders reminded me of the deep blue of the ocean. I love it that Finnish glass can now remind me of the Caribbean!

The set of tealight candle holders looks beautiful on my dining table. Turquoise color of the glass changes slightly along the blue-green spectrum depending on the ambient lighting so that adds a bit of variety, as well.

Beautiful turquoise glass

These candleholders from Finland are thick and sturdy. They are half again as large as the Iittala Kivi candle holders you may have collected a few years back. The turquoise color is mesmerizing and so beautiful on the dinner table in low light. Also when having a late dinner outdoors on a warm night. I’m going to get more colors.
