The iittala Willow Grouse was first produced in 1981 and had since been retired, but this 2020 relaunch is as beautiful as ever. Also called the Ptmarmigan, Oiva Toikka designed the bird based on the real-life species that can be found in Lapland, Finland. The bird has texture than can be both seen and felt, though the resulting effect is still subtle and soft. The ivory and light, creamy beige hues give it a natural palette perfect for any modern home. A clear head and beak are a thoughtful pairing on this one-of-a-kind piece of art, which has been handcrafted and mouth-blown in Finland.
