Q & A
The petite counterpart to the iittala Toikka Rosalinda Bird, the Rosalinda Egg also lives up to its name meaning "Beautiful Rose." It shares the same rosy petal-like spots on its milky white, oval body. The bottom is flattened, allowing it to rest safely on its side. The bird, sold separately, was originally introduced in 2007 but is back as a special item for a limited time. Both the Rosalinda bird and this coordinating egg are exclusive to the United States.
Please note: This egg is smaller than most iittala Toikka eggs. See dimensions below.

One of the nicest non-annual or numbered eggs Toikka has made.
It’s the perfect compliment to the reintroduced Rosalinda. Now, if they only brought back the Pomelo and combined it with its own egg, I’d be the happiest Toikka Birds collector ever!
Pros
Great colors, beautifully crafted.
Cons
At its full price, it?s rather pricey. I recall the days when the standard Toikka eggs sold for no more than $60 or $70 bucks.

Sweet little egg...
December 14, 2017
This was a little smaller than I’d pictured but a very sweet little egg. I picked it up on a daily deal, which I loved. I couldn’t imagine paying full price given it’s size. However, I like it very much!

Perfect for the desk
November 28, 2017
I've got several of Oiva Toikka's birds, but this is the first egg I've purchased. It's a truly beautiful object that I've placed on my desk. It's heavy and can function as a paperweight, but it's also just beautiful on its own as a piece of art.
