The Taika design is enchanting. The four pieces make a wonderful set. The bowl can be used for lots of things, including a decorative piece. I already have several mugs and they hold up to daily use, including microwave and dishwasher.

I now have iitala Taika pieces in both the white and blue designs and love them both. They are bright and shiny and clean up beautifully, even after daily use of the mugs for black tea. Shipping was prompt and the product was well packed.

the Taikka pattern is so amusing. the pieces are well made, beautifully smooth and a substantial weight and thickness but not too heavy. the handle onot the mug is comfortable to hold.

I bought two of these starter sets on sale. They are beautiful! However, staff at Finnstyle should be aware the bowls do not stay put in their prepackaged slots in the boxes. The bowls shifted in both boxes so I would advise supplementary packing material. Miraculously,the bowls made it to my house intact.
