Since its birth in 2007, Klaus Haapaniemi's Taika (Magic) dinnerware had fans of fine design enamored yet eager for more. Now, it's excitingly extended to other home décor items, including this kitchen tea towel made from an absorbent and durable blend of linen and cotton. The colorful, ornate design pops against a midnight blue sky and showcases a favorite Taika character; the whimsical, wide-eyed owl. When the linen's not being used to dry dishes or cover warm pastries, you'll want to display it for all to see. Fold it over the oven handle or hang from the cloth tab; you could even frame this functional art.

It's beautiful, but after washing it needs to be ironed!

I love this image (I have some of the Iittala Taika dishes). I love it on the dish towels too, but was disappointed to find they wrinkle badly after washing. I understand that's the nature of cotton and linen, but I suppose I've been spoiled by the (Marimmeko) ones that come out of the dryer in perfectly usable condition.
Pros
Beautiful and imaginative
High quality
Cons
Wrinkles badly after washing
