The iittala Sarjaton collection is one deeply rooted in Finnish folklore and artisan rituals, where the fresh-faced Varpu (Twig) pattern fits right in. Swedish illustrator Lotta Olson breaks the mold with a more modern and appealing approach to floral. The drawings are a stylistic mix of both bold simple lines and more photo-realistic details, saturated with rich color and dimension. This dessert bowl is made from vitro porcelain, so it is conveniently microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher safe. It fits right in with the "relaxed living" Sarjaton encourages, where great company and comforts are more meaningful than forced, formal settings.
Care: Freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe
First founded as a glassworks company in 1881, iittala is now a leading company in modern Finnish design producing a range of dinnerware, glassware and art pieces. You’d be hard-pressed to find a Finn or fan of Finnish design that doesn’t recognize the iittala logo, designed by Timo Sarpane... More iittala
they looked better in the photo on line than in real life, but still quite adorable

I think these are just the prettiest little bowls. I am collecting several of the Iittala collection ... they are such nice quality. FinnStyle always sends everything so well packaged. Wonderful tableware and great company to purchase from!
