Inspiration for the iiittala Nappula Tall Candle Holder came to designer Matti Klenell at the Nuutarjärvi glass museum, where he was drawn to the distinctive design of an interestingly shaped chair. Moved by the unique piece of furniture, Klenell set out to create memorable pieces of his own. Demanding attention, this is the tallest of the two candle holders in the Nappula collection. The sturdy powder coated steel has an attractive matte finish, and a felt bottom rest stabilizes the piece. I love Iittala decor and grabbed this on Black Friday sale! Would have picked white but this color was on sale so it was worth it! Very nice with tall white candle :) I have the short one as well so have them on the shelf together :)
