Both inspired by droplets of water, iittala's 2014 color Rain and Oiva Toikka's Kastehelmi (Dewdrop) design were destined to be together. Originally produced half a century ago, this bubbled detailing really brings out the powerful undertones in the moody, greyish-blue glass. This piece is perfect for a pretty presentation of candy, fruit or nuts, as well as serving sorbets, puddings and trifles. A fine example of truly timeless design, the iittala Kastehelmi Dewdrop Rain Footed Bowl needs to be seen and felt in person to really be appreciated.
