The Purnukka jars have such classic design and sit so nicely on the counter. The new large black jar looks great with my other terra cotta color Purnukka jars.. I love it!!

Are these canisters / containers completely 100% lead and BPA free?
Is the gasket BPa free?
Are these air tight enough for storing tea, coffee, sugar, spices in a humid or tropical climate?

The Purnukka Jars are BPA and Lead free, however they are not equipped with an airtight seal. Both pieces are Ceramic and there is no rubber seal.
