Storage doesn't have to hide your artifacts; with iittala Aarre Wall Jewels, you can display them with art itself. The eclectic yet cohesive collection is the result of collaborations between Professor Oiva Toikka and other talented designers. Elina Aalto and Klaus Aalto explored flora for their jewels, and fittingly named this one Papaver (Poppy.) Each piece is mouth-blown at the same Finnish factory as Toikka's famous birds. This allows for variation in color and shape, making each jewel a unique piece of art to truly treasure. After all, "Aarre" translates to "Treasure."

These Wall Jewels are mesmerizing. They benefit from a sunlit wall where the light can bounce off their surface and unlock the full glory of the colored glass.
To be completely honest, this is my least favorite of the set. That said, I am still giving it 5 stars because if was left with only this one, I would still be incredibly happy.

I was thrilled to see the price reduction on this "Wall Jewel". I had had my eye on the pieces, but couldn't really justify the expense. With the price reduced, I decided to take the plunge, and I am glad I did. It offers three dimensional interest to the wall surface and holds light beautifully

I'm in love with those wall jewels. I have some mounted on the wall, which is easy to do with the enclosed hardware, and some I have arranged in a cluster in my living room. When I want to change the look I just unscrew one from the wall and change it out with one from my arrangement ;) I just ordered two more that's how obsessed I am ;)
