Commonly referred to as the Bonehead Fillet Knife, the Paaso Puukko 16 Knife is the ideal blade for filleting a fresh catch. The blade is made of 440C stainless steel, and is slightly flexible to follow the countours of the fish meat between bones and flesh. The handle is made of reindeer antler and curly birch and features leather spacers and the burned image of a fish. The vegetable tanned leather sheath also carries the symbol of a fish, though it is stamped with a more detailed illustration.
The puukko I ordered arrived quickly and was packaged very well! The over all quality was much up to standard and was the hit of the party where it was a gift! Beautiful, easy and on time -- I will absolutely be using the site again!
