The Spring / Summer 2007 Marimekko Guada pattern was designed by Tuula Kaakinen and received an honorable mention at Marimekko's "Design, Meet the User!" competition.
The deep yellow pattern illustrates the artist's perspective from sitting in the shade under the canopy of large tree fronds in Guadalajara, Mexico.
