The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the first Moomin story, and what better way to celebrate than under the constellations with the Moomins themselves? Called Tähtimuumi (Star Moomin), this print features the inhabitants of Moominvalley dining by candlelight under a night sky. They too are in celebration; Thingumy and Bob have found Moominmamma's lost handbag and are being honored at this party complete with fireworks. The pair further enchants all when they reveal the King's Ruby in their suitcase. The enchanting design is printed on a 100% cotton padded oven mitt with a loop that allows it to be hung on display when not in use. It's thick enough to protect from heat but flexible enough to grab pans with ease while cooking and baking.
Care: Machine washable. Follow instructions on tag.

Absolutely love these Finlayson Moonmin mitts - I've bought previous designs in the past and knew I wanted a mis-matching second pair in another design. That said, when I received the mitt, I was disappointed to see that the design with the Moomin was completely off from the photo on the website. The picture has been completely been cut off from the mitt so you don't get to see any actual Moomin!
