The black and white Kudelma pattern designed by Noora Typpo is inspired by the beauty and diversity of languages and different dialects. The graphic design consists of “word weave” that includes different letters and Finnish words. This pattern was a clear winner of the textile design competition organized by Finlayson with its Japanese licensing partner, Felissimo, to celebrate Finlayson’s 200th anniversary. The Kudelma tote bag is made of a thick rib weave cotton with 50% of the cotton being recycled. This fabric is easy to care for and makes for the perfect lunch, everday, or shopping bag.
