It's printed on a 100% rib weave cotton cushion cover which is firm and durable. Remove it from an insert with the size zipper for machine washing; it's also easily ironed afterwards thanks to the Easy Care treatment. The cushion cover has been granted the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certificate, indicating that the product does not contain harmful chemicals and is safe to cuddle up to on the sofa or bed.

I absolutely love this pillow! The design is so striking, and the fabric is thick and study without being too coarse. It's easy to get the cover onto the pillow insert, and the zipper is cleverly hidden by a fold of fabric.
Note that if you buy the insert from Finn Style, it's quite plump/well-stuffed. I used to have flatter/thinner throw pillows from IKEA, and it took 3 to prop up my head while I laid on the couch. I only need this one pillow to prop me up now! If you're looking for something thinner/more flexible, you may want to buy a different insert.
