The Robin, a common visitor to our homes, is now seen in its glass form as a permanent house guest. The brown and orange gradient of this Robin's transparent body creates a beautiful, glowing amber that will stun anywhere it decides to perch. Crafted in Fiskars, Finland exclusively for FinnStyle, the Robin glass bird is designed by artist Tarmo Maaronen and mouth-blown by a small team of skilled blowers. Maaronen was born in 1963 in Urjala, Finland and has been blowing glass since 1979. He worked as a teacher of Scandinavian glass techniques from 1995-1997, until he founded his own glass studio Bianco Blu.

This robin is the perfect size ( not too big or too small) for where I wanted to put it. It looks nice next to my potted plant on top of a small bookcase at eye level. The coloring is beautiful and looks much better in person than it does online. I can't take my eyes off of this sweet little robin whenever I walk into the room. Love this purchase!
