  Juha LeiviskäBorn in Helsinki in 1936, Juha Leiviskä is an architect and designer who studied at the Helsinki University of Technology. A thoughtful planner, he had a talent for using natural light in his architecture designs so naturally when he began to experiment with lighting design, he was immediately adept. Simple and subtle were themes at the core of his designs which created warm yet complex lighting fixtures. Respected in both Finland and abroad, Leiviskä has been awarded several prizes for his work and many of his pieces have been displayed in international exhibitions.
