Perfect as a throw or to place over a couch back, the Artek Siena Wool Blanket is a fine piece of Finnish design. Made from 100% wool, the soft grey background features a repeating black block design to create this neutral print. Patterned yet not overly designed, Alvar Aalto created the Siena fabric print in 1954. This print has been used for a dress for his second wife Elissa, a mattress cover and now it has been re-introduced on a variety of home goods. Part of Artek's abc collection, it contains almost 20 different items offered exclusively in the Siena print

A fantastically soft and inviting throw. Great design. The color is a charcoal black with a heather cream contrast. Reversed on the opposite side, of course.

This item is wonderful from the Aalto design to the quality of wool. It is enjoyable to wrap up in it.
